How to Reach Us
The best way to reach BilateralFactor is by email: contact@bilateralfactor.com.
We are a small independent operation. We read every message and respond on a best-effort basis. We do not have a support team or a guaranteed response time.
You can also use this form. Submissions go to the same inbox.
What to Contact Us About
We welcome messages about:
- Corrections: if you believe an article contains a factual error, please tell us the article URL, the specific claim you think is wrong, and the source that supports the correction. We take accuracy seriously and will review all correction requests promptly.
- Source questions: if you cannot locate a cited source or believe a source URL has changed, let us know and we will verify and update the citation.
- General feedback: suggestions for topics, calculator features, or usability improvements are welcome.
- Privacy questions: if you have questions about how this site handles data, see our privacy policy and feel free to email us with any questions not answered there.
What We Cannot Help With
We are an informational publishing project, not a claims-assistance service. We cannot advise on individual VA claims. We cannot review your rating decision, help you file an appeal, interpret your specific evidence of record, or recommend a course of action for your situation. Providing that kind of advice requires VA accreditation and knowledge of your personal circumstances, neither of which we have.
Please see our disclaimer for a full explanation of the scope of our content. For assistance with individual claims, we strongly encourage you to work with an accredited VSO, claims agent, or attorney. You can find accredited representatives through the VA Office of General Counsel accreditation search. Most VSO representatives assist veterans at no charge.
Response Expectations
We aim to respond to correction requests within a reasonable time. For other inquiries, response times vary depending on volume and complexity. If your question is answered in our articles, our editorial policy, or our methodology page, we may reply with a pointer to that content rather than a separate explanation.
